Attire

Clubhouse & Dining Attire

All Members, their families and Guests must at all times be attired and groomed, so as to maintain the dignity and decorum of the Club. Proper and complete attire, consistent with the applicable area of the Club and the activity, shall always be worn on the Club premises, including as follows:

For the Club entrance and grounds, informal dining rooms and hallways, "Casual Attire" at a minimum is required (see definition below).

The wearing of hats or caps of any kind by men or boys (except for religious or medical reasons) is not permitted in the Clubhouse except for Grill Room, Locker Rooms, and patios. Golf/baseball type hats must be worn with the bill forward.

All Members and their Guests in bathing suits are permitted only in the Locker Rooms and at the Pool and Family Recreation Center. T-shirts, cover-ups or beach jackets must be worn in the FRC and from the Clubhouse to the pool (towels are not considered appropriate attire). The above items are not appropriate attire for the Clubhouse.

"CASUAL ATTIRE"

Casual attire in the clubhouse means that coats or ties are not required and encompasses a wide range of acceptable articles of clothing, including, but not limited to:

Dress slacks, denim, blouses, sweaters, polos, mock shirts, and Bermuda-style shorts or longer.

Dress Code for Men: Shirts with collars and sleeves must be worn at all times. Dress style t-shirts are only permitted except when worn with a sport coat or at the Pool, the Underground, Racquet Sports Courts or the FRC.

Children under 12: Some standards of dress may be relaxed from time to time.

"NON-ACCEPTABLE ATTIRE"

Non-acceptable attire includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Tee shirts of any kind (except when worn with a sport coat or a sweater), torn, ripped, frayed, or heavily soiled jeans, tank tops, cutoffs, short-shorts, spandex, sweats of any kind or any kind of gym apparel, and rubber or plastic pool shoes (such as thongs, flip-flops).

Exception: Members going to and from the swimming pool, Racquet Sports courts, or fitness center.

"INFORMAL ATTIRE"

Informal attire means that a jacket is required, but a tie is not.

"DINNER ATTIRE"

Dinner attire means that BOTH a jacket and tie are required.

"COCKTAIL ATTIRE"

Cocktail attire means that elegant attire is required (a suit and tie for gentlemen is suggested; dressy attire is appropriate for women).

"BLACK TIE"

Black tie means that formal attire is required.

Golf Attire

Proper golf attire is required at all times for all golfers (including children 12 years of age and younger) to use the golf course or any of the outdoor golf facilities. The Golf Professional Staff or First Tee Staff is empowered to enforce this provision for Members and their Guests. Those not properly attired will be required to obtain or purchase the necessary attire in order to utilize any outdoor golf facilities (golf course or practice areas). Athletic apparel and T-shirts are allowed in the Underground. It is a Member's responsibility to ensure that his/her guests are properly attired.

The following are considered appropriate golf attire.

Men: Shirts with collars and sleeves must be worn at all times. Slacks or Bermuda length golf shorts are acceptable. Shirts must be tucked into pants or shorts at all times. NO tank tops, T-shirts, cut-offs, short shorts, sweat pants, bathing suits, jeans, jean shorts, tennis shorts, other athletic clothing or gym apparel are permitted. Golf/baseball type hats must be worn with the bill forward.

Women: Proper golf attire includes dresses, shirts, slacks, Bermuda length golf shorts and blouses. Sleeveless shirts must have collars and shirts without collars must have sleeves. NO halter tops, T-shirts, bathing suits, tank tops, sweat pants, jeans, jean shorts, tennis shorts, short shorts, spandex type clothing or other athletic clothing or gym apparel are permitted.

Shoes: Acceptable golf or tennis shoes must be worn. Metal spike golf shoes are not permitted.

Racquet Sports Attire

Proper attire and shoes must always be worn (rubber-soled street shoes are not considered appropriate). Shirts must also always be worn.

Pool Attire

Proper swimming attire must be worn in the pool and pool area. Thong bathing suits are not permitted. Swimsuits must remain fastened/tied while sunbathing.
